The start of the Road

We all start somewhere.

For me, the love of understanding aspects of the social structures that impact my life started during my sophomore year of high school. Ever since then, self-reflection and examining what makes me...me, they have been paramount to shaping my personal and academic profile.

In a way, this blog is meant to be a personal memorial, a reminder that my actions hold meaning, that they are not just there to signify my scream into an empty void. Life is infinitely deep. There are innumerable amounts of questions to be asked about the world around us. On the flip side, there are countless answers to respond to those answers. This blog then signifies many of my questions and answers, along with a possible change to the way I think and perceive the world from then until now (whenever now is). It is the opening of my mind for all to see, a clear revelation of my thoughts and mental state. It seems foolish, and regardless of how I try to see things, it will always be foolish. But as careful as I am, I have never strayed from being a fool as long as my foolishness reminds me of who I am.

To go into more detail on how this blog will be set up, this blog will contain posts about different topics. This can vary from my opinions on religion, my opinions on work, my opinions on love, my opinions on friendship, etc.. Each post will contain an initial reflection or series of questions that I had written in the past (usually during high school), and then will contain a post-reflection on why I wrote that piece and possibly an updated reflection on that same topic (with a date stamp of course).

Feel free to comment on your own thoughts and constructive criticisms. I will respond to anything that presents a clear picture and motive of what it is trying to achieve.
